via chewboom.com This Saturday, October 27th is National Beer Day. (*pssst I was going to drink anyway) According to the internetwebs, the fine people of Planters have partnered with Noon Whistle Brewery out of Chicago for the introduction of new Mr. IPA-Nut craft beer.
I don't think it's THAT far of a stretch considering how often you see bowl of nuts on the counter when beers are flowing. I guess they thought: "Why not combine these two flavors into one, frosty package?"
In the article, their Mr. IPA-Nut is described as having a “unique citrus aroma with a hint of honey-roasted peanuts followed by a slightly salty finish.”
