via blabbermouth This year's KISS Kruise had promised fans some special guests when it departed Miami yesterday and it didn't take long to deliver. During an acoustic set original guitarist, Ace Frehley joined Paul, Gene, drummer Eric Singer and current axeman, Tommy Thayer for four song: "2000 Man" (THE ROLLING STONES cover, which Ace sang on "Dynasty"), "New York Groove" (from Ace's 1978 debut solo album), "Nothing' To Lose" and "Rock And Roll All Nite". One of his replacements from the 1984-1996 lineup, Bruce Kulick, also joined in on acoustic guitar.
KISS are jamming multiple shows during the eighth annual Kruise which hits Key West, Florida, and Nassau in the Bahamas before returning to port on November 5th. As it turned out, Frehley was already scheduled to play solo shows onboard the Ship in support of his album Spaceman which was released last month. However, his appearance with his former bandmates was a surprise to many.
