Clapton Releases Video For "White Christmas"

via UCR       October saw the release of Happy XMas, Eric Clapton's 24th studio album. It's chock full of Holiday classics as well as a few, lesser-known tracks. Each one has Clapton's bluesey arrangements all over them. Among the 14 songs, there is a new original, as well, titled “For Love on Christmas Day. He even designed and illustrated the cover art for the album.

When asked about his approach to the song selection the Hall of Fame's only 3-time member had this to say in a Billboard article

"I had in my head that these holiday songs could be done with a slight blues tinge, and I started to figure out how to play the blues lines in between the vocals. I got it down and one of the most identifiable songs on the album, the one that became the foundational style, is ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.’
