Potty-Mouthed Parrot Banned From Animal Sanctuary

(via WJLA)        Meet "Rocco" the African Grey Parrot he's been booted from his home for his potty mouth. A worker at the National Animal Welfare Trust sanctuary in the United Kingdom took him home originally, due to his foul language. She didn't want the visiting public to be offended. What she didn't realize is that Rocco would soon cause even more problems.

Owner Marion Wischnewski says that the bird has been ordering food items from her Amazon Alexa smart speaker.  Aside from having it play his favorite music, Rocco has learned to order strawberries, watermelon, raisins, broccoli and ice cream, as well as a kite, kettle and light bulbs.

“Rocco and Alexa chat away to each other all day. Then I have to check the shopping list and cancel all the items he’s ordered.”
