While Mick and Keef were in the middle of a "trial separation" and at odds with each other over the fate of the 'Stones, some cool stuff managed to get recorded. Jagger was busy recording and touring after the release of his solo album, Dirty Work while Richards focused on his debut solo album Talk Is Cheap.
The album originally released in 1988 featured a star studded cast of singers and musicians. Legends like Songwriter/Producer/Drummer-Steve Jordan, Ivan Neville, saxophonist Bobby Keys, and guitarist Waddy Wachtel were brought in. Even funk icons Bootsy Collins and Bernie Worrell of P-Funk joined the sessions
March 29th will see the remastered, reissued edition of the album on CD, vinyl and on digital platforms. There's also a deluxe box set and a limited edition super deluxe box set will feature six previously unreleased tracks – including his cover of Willie Dixon's classic My Babe, which can be hear above.
