$2.00 Baseball Card Could Be Worth Millions

Pitchers and Catchers reported for Major League duty today across the country to open Spring Training. There is light at the end of the Winter tunnel friends. I just found this story on UPI about a California baseball card collector who may have punched his ticket to instant wealth.

The man spotted a 1921 Shotwell W-575-1 Babe Ruth card, an ultra-rare collectible with only two in existence! Shockingly, Action Sports and Coin in Sparks, Nevada. had it marked with an $8.00 price tag. I guess the store owners thought the Card was a fake. The buyer ended up paying only $2 because the store was having a sale that day. Here's where it gets interesting.

The collector said he had the card examined by an antiques expert in Beverly Hills, who shared his opinion that the item is the real deal. He said the card must be authenticated and graded before its true, value is revealed. Until then, the card's new owner says he sell it for $2-million.....
