According to sources close to the 75 year-old Legend, Mick Jagger's heart valve replacement procedure went off without a hitch. Doctors in New York City performed what ended up being a minimally invasive procedure. Jagger was able to avoid major surgery due to the fact that the professionals in the white lab coats were able to repair the valve using a a catheter that accesses a major artery without opening the chest.
He was said to be in great health, recovering well and must rest for four to five days so that the artery can heal without any issues. He could be up and about in a few days, but will need more recovery time before returning to the band's "No Filter" Tour. Want more great news Stones fans?
