Last weekend, The Hard Rock Cafe near Time's Square played host to Juliens Auctions "Music Icons" memorabilia auction. Among the items, was a paper plate that Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain once ate pizza from, sold for $22,400. The plate dates back to April 23, 1990, and features the band's setlist from the 9:30 nightclub in Washington, which was handwritten by Cobain.
Another big ticket item from the collection was the cardigan Cobain wore at his final photoshoot, the album cover of In Utero, released on September 21, 1993. The sweater (below) sold for $75,000.
