Last night, Brady K. Fenner pitched a Perfect Game for his Little League Team in Worcester. The 12 year-old retired every hitter over his 6 innings of work in his team's 9-0 victory. That's impressive on its own. What makes this gem even more special was the fact that he struck out all 18 hitters he faced.
The young phenom threw 79 pitches, six below the maximum allowed in Little League. If he had thrown 85, he would have had to come out of the game, regardless of the Perfect Game situation. Turns out he's also prettty handy with the lumber too. Brady hit a double and a triple, and drove in three runs. His triple one-hopped the center field fence. A performance for the ages, folks. Safe to say, with the recent efforts of the Red Sox, maybe the front office should keep an eye on this prospect.....just sayin'
