On July 1st, Soundgarden fans will treated to the premiere of the new Concert flick Live from the Artists Den. The performance was filmed at The Wiltern in Los Angeles back in 2013.It features a ton of tracks the band haven't released in video or film form before. The entire concert film was digitally remastered specifically for IMAX theaters. This one-night only event is being hailed as a never-before-seen event. The surviving band members along with the Chris Cornell Estate are fully on board with the release which will feature just shy of 30 songs total.
Locally, the Boston Common 19 IMAX will screen the film. After that, it will be shown in New York, LA, and the band’s Seattle hometown. Physical copies of the concert film, as well as a live album version, hit store shelves July 26th.
