An Inside-The-Park, Bunt Home Run Happened

Lakeland, FL. You think you've seen it all? As old as the game of Baseball is and the number of Pro/Semi-Pro/College etc. games that are played everyday, surely this must've happened before. Well it happened again, the rare, Inside-the-Park Bunt Home Run. This bizarre feat went down last night in a game between the Lakeland Flying Tigers, (High-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers) and the Jupiter Hammerheads. Outfield prospect, Reece Hampton bunted the ball towards the pitcher's mound and ended up scoring on the play after a series of horrible errors.

Oddly enough, a similar play happened AGAINST the Detroit Tigers back in 2017. (*see 2017 play below)
