This past weekend, Motley Crue's best-selling studio album celebrated its 30th Anniversary. Dr. Feelgood, originally released in September 1st, 1989 quickly rose up the charts to become their first and only #1 Album. Thanks to some strong songwriting from the then "clean and sober" band, Producer Bob Rock and five hit singles ("Dr. Feelgood," "Kickstart My Heart," "Without You," "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" and "Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)." It also helped that their companion videos were on regular rotation on MTV. It would go on to sell over 6 million copies in the U.S. alone.
This newly remastered edition includes a standalone CD and vinyl featuring new packaging, the 30th anniversary version Dr. Feelgood will also be released as part of a deluxe package featuring an extra three seven-inch vinyl picture discs, as well as various memorabilia including guitar picks, a deck of cards, pins and a prescription notepad.
