Slash And Gibson Team Up For Another Signature Guitar

October 1st, Gibson Guitars will unleash a limited edition Slash Signature Double Neck EDS-1275 model. Back in 1990 during Guns N' Roses' Use Your Illusion Tour, his guitar tech had found the original 1966 vintage axe in a small music shop in Indiana. Being a huge fan of Jimmy Page and his work in the '70's with the iconic instrument, Slash fell in love and put it to use right away on the road and later in studio.

Now, nearly 30 years later the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, TN. has faithfully recreated 125 replicas of the 12/6-string wonder. To add to the value and mystique, the guitarist, himself has hand-signed each one of them. it comes with a vintage replica hardshell case, a custom concho guitar strap and a Certificate of Authenticity. No list price has been issued yet, but rest assured, you may need to tap into the 401k or your kid's College fund to pick one up. More details and pre-order info HERE
