Just when you thought the Tide Pod craze had settled down and people had stopped trying to eat laundry detergent. The Glen Livet Whiskey distillery launched a bold new product this week. It's a pre-mixed, edible pod so "There’s no need for a glass, ice or a cocktail stirrer,” as the company says in the video below.
Whisky lovers can now travel with ease and bite down to release the liquid inside. The outer casing is made from a sustainable, edible seaweed They come in three flavors: citrus, wood and spice. As for now, they will make their premier at London's Cocktail Week and only be available in the U.K. but may see distribution here in the States one day. So just be careful not to mix up your whiskey with your load of laundry and vice versa. What do you think? Would you try it?
