Patriots Fan Finishes His Collection Of Jerseys 1-99

Meet Wes Hogan, Super Patriots Fan. After relocating to the Boston area from Atlanta (*28-3...sorry, couldn't help it) 15 years ago, he set out on a lofty goal of collecting jersey numbers 1-99 of past and present New England Players. In this article from patriots.com Hogan says he was impressed how the Team overcame adversity. That year Running Back Corey Dillon's #28 became his first Patriots Jersey and he never looked back.

Fifteen years later, he completed the collection with Jamie Collins' #58, following his second stint with the Team. Some notable from the collection include a Dont'a Hightower No. 45 from preseason his rookie year. He has both No. 23 and No. 25 representing Patrick Chung's two tours with the team. So what was the hardest one to acquire? Hogan said it was a No. 9. After doing a deep dive into the Roster History Books, there was a kicker in 1993 named Scott Sisson that adorned that digit. For his efforts, Wes was invited to the Pats/Browns Game and got to present Special Teams Captain Matthew Slater with a gray, 2014 Pro Bowl Jersey that the player himself, didn't even have in HIS collection. Not to worry Hogan still has Slater's #18 in both Blue and White too.
