Bruce Springsteen returned to his roots in Asbury Park, NJ. this past weekend. The Boss surprised fans at The Stone Pony, his early '70's stomping grounds with a two-hour set. As it turned out, he was there to help raise funds for Boston College, his son Evan's Alma Mater.
Joining him onstage were Asbury Jukes guitarist Bobby Bandiera and his band, along with Max Weinberg of the E Street Band on drums.The gig was significant as it marked his longest, live performance since his Broadway show wrapped last year. Watch footage below. Here's the setlist:
