United Airlines recently unveiled a new Boeing 737 emblazoned with some amazing Star Wars graphics. With the launch of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, the final installment in the film saga in December, the marketing campaigns have gone to the next level.
Earlier this month, the inaugural flight took it from Houston, TX. to Orlando, FL. In keeping with the theme, the plane features a black, galactic-looking paint job complete with Tie Fighters and X-Wings, and a "Dark Side" and "Light Side" with the appropriate red and blue lightsabers on opposite sides of the tail. Inside, all of the seats bear similar color schemes and logos of the "Resistance" and the evil "First Order". Travellers will be offered a Star Wars amenity package, collectible merch and even the film's soundtrack playing over the onboard speakers.
United plans to fly it here in the U.S., Canada, Central America and the Caribbean. If you're interested in booking passage aboard "Star Wars" air, You can look up its tail number N36272 on United's official site. Just don't expect it to travel at light speed or a Wookie to say "Buh-Bye" when you land. More details and pictures HERE
