Last night the PDC held its World Championships of Darts inside a packed Alexandra Palace in London. It's considered the "Super Bowl" of darts. What made the finals so intriguing? Fallon Sherrock became the first female to defeat a male for the World Title. The English native made six 180's -- a perfect score over three darts -- and had a match average of 91.12 in their first-round match.
In this article from ESPN Sherrock said:
"What I've just done tonight, I hope it just proves that women, we can beat the men, we can play well against the men,"
Congratulations to the new Champ. Side note: look at how raucous the crowd is. I'm guessing they serve beer at the concessions of this thing.......
