Clapton Held All-Star Tribute To Ginger Baker

This past Sunday, Eric Clapton played host for a Tribute Concert to his late band mate, Ginger Baker. The legendary Cream drummer passed away in October of last year at the age of 80. Dubbed "Eric Clapton and Friends", the show took place at London's Apollo Hammersmith.

In this piece from Guitar World, Slowhand addressed the crowd saying:

“He was a scoundrel but I loved him and he loved me and that was that.I saw some people get the rough edge of his tongue but I never did, so I feel blessed. That’s why I’m doing this.”

Some of the artists that turned up to perform included Roger Waters,Ronnie Wood, drummer Kenney Jones,Nile Rodgers, Baker’s son Kofi and Steve Winwood on keys and vocals. The set list was filled with classics and fan favorites from Cream and Blind Faith. I posted a full set list after the crowd-shot videos below. Let's just hope they were rolling tape(film) to capture this super jam for prosperity. It's not often you get ot se this many legends in one room at the same time.
