In the Spring of 1977, at the height of their Superpowers, The Stones tried to pull off a sneaky, secret show at the famed, "El Mocambo"; a 300 seat club venue in Toronto,ON. A local radio station was tasked with promoting the concert as "April Wine with special guests The Cockroaches". When ticketholders arrived, they realized it was April Wine opening for The Rolling Stones!
Although a few of the tracks appeared on "Love You Live", the sets in their entirety were never officially released until now. "Live At The El Mocambo 1977" features the Stones' full set from the March 5 show, plus three bonus tracks from the March 4 gig. The album is available in digital form, CD, and vinyl, of course.
