They say everything is bigger in texas. Meet Zeus, a 2 1/2 year-old Great Dane. According to the Guinness Book Of World Records, he's the tallest dog in the World! although his shoulder height while on all fours is over 3 feet tall, when Zeus stands on his hind legs, he towers over 7 feet tall! His dog parents say the looks and comments they get everyday are mixed.
“The actions and reactions either way are usually pretty extreme,” Brittany Davis of Ft. worth said. “Either people are super excited and they want to come over and take all the pictures and meet him, or they’re super scared and they go to the other side of the street and look at him from very far away.”
So, how much food does The world’s tallest dog consume? 12 cups of food formulated for giant-breed dogs each day and glucosamine supplements to protect his joints. Although he has a laid-back, friendly demeanor, the Davis' insist people don't try to "ride him like a horse".
