Robert Plant has admitted that he's such a soccer fan, he sometimes faked sore throats to get out of a Led Zeppelin show to watch his favorite team, the Wolverhampton Wanderers. In an interview with The New Times, he said it was especially hard leaving England when his team was doing well, "There were a few times with Led Zeppelin where I mysteriously got a bad throat a few hours before the match, and was able to return to watch them play … and miraculously repair by the next day!”
