As we get ready for the Sox to take on the Yankees in the Bronx, a press conference was held in London today to announce that the first ever MLB games to be played in Europe will be in the Summer of 2019 and it will be The Boston Red Sox vs. The New York Yankees.
MLB Commisioner Rob Manfred said, "We are bringing you one of the best rivalries in baseball."
The #LondonSeries will happen June 29 and 30, 2019 in the Olympic Stadium, which will seat 55,000 in a baseball configuration. Imagine all the signs explaining the game of baseball to cricket fans.
