When Evel Knievel attempted to jump the fountains at Caesar’s Palace, he ended up going down his landing ramp like an upside down rag doll. Last night, Travis Pastrana did that jump and two more of Evel’s most famous, in a live event with screaming play by play on History.
Evel was known to personally nail together some of his landing ramps himself, guessing what angle it should be, how fast should he go, and how close the ambulance would be parked to the jump site.
