Maybe they hooked you with Crispy Taco or Southern Gravy and Biscuits flavors, but now Lay's Potato Chips has gone full in with 8 new flavors. They're supposed to represent the flavors of America, with a capital A!
Like Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice, inspired by crab shacks along the Mid-Atlantic, these chips feature crab spice seasoning. Or Fried Pickles With Ranch inspired by the fried pickles at state fairs in the Mid West with ranch and sour cream flavors.
But I think they took the easy way out on us. New England Lobster Roll Chips featuring sour cream, butter, onion powder, and bell pepper. Don't you think they should have really gone for it with Marshmallow Fluff flavor? Blindingly white chips with a nice sheen to them and enough sugar to kill a small deer.
