As the Boston Red Sox start the battle for the World Series crown against the Dodgers of LA tomorrow, there will be a happy group of firefighters on hand, compliments of UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
The Irish fighter with the cauliflower ears showed up at Ladder 15 on Boylston Street in Boston on Friday, bearing gifts. Arriving in a Proper No. 12 Whiskey truck, he started passing out bottles of whiskey and World Series tickets to show his appreciation for first responders, a group he also supports by donating a portion of his booze company’s sales to programs all over the world.
