Via Boston.cbslocal.com. The California wildfires were devastating. Lost lives, property, and thousands of acres of scorched Earth. Many pets were displaced by these fires, but now you can give them a new home. The Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem says five dogs that escaped wildfires near Thousand Oaks arrived in Boston Sunday. They’ll be up for adoption at the shelter Tuesday.
NEAS has now taken in a total of 11 dogs from rescue partner Saving Gizmo’s Friends of California. That shelter has been “severely affected” by the devastating fires.
