Via boston.com. Dejah Rondeau is a seventh-grade quarterback from Exeter, New Hampshire, and a huge Patriots fan. She wears number eleven for the Exeter Seahawks in honor of her favorite player, Julian Edelman. When the Seahawks initial starter went down with an injury, she took over, and that's when the bullying started.
Her mother Nichole Brock said, “Some people don’t want to accept a female quarterback. She’ll have to put in 110 percent when others are putting in 50, but Dejah becoming the quarterback is the best thing that could happen to her. She’s worked really hard at it.”
When the Patriots heard her story, they brought her to Gillette Stadium for a tour of the trophy room with owner Robert Kraft and a game of catch with her hero, Julian Edelman.
