What a week for former Dallas Cowboys quarterback turned CBS football analyst Tony Romo. First he gets to call the New England Patriots sixth Super Bowl victory last Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, and this week he gets to play in the AT&T PGA Pro-Am at Pebble Beach, partnering up with Jim Furyk.
He’s actually a scratch golfer, but on the 15th hole he hit a shot like the rest of us duffers, sailing it onto the beer deck of the Hospitality Tent by the side of the green. He was offered the chance to take a drop, but he wanted to use his wedge off the carpet and go, “Tin Cup”.
