The Boston Red Sox will try to become the first team to win back to back World Series Championships since the 1999-2000 New York Yankees when they open the season tonight in Seattle. The team starts the season at the top of the MLB power rankings, with essentially the same team that won 108 games during the regular season last year. It's not an easy start, they play their first 11 games on the road against 3 teams that were playoff contenders going into September.
When the Sox return home April 9th, they'll have their 4th ring ceremony in the last 15 years, and with them sharing a championship year with the New England Patriots, it will be fun to see what TB12 and Gronk will be doing in the outfield this year. Go Sox!
