The Cure's Robert Smith Had The Best Red Carpet Moment At The HOF Induction

Friday night The Cure were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Lead singer Robert Smith was in full British rock star mode as he walked the red carpet into The Barclays Center. Carrie Keagan was interviewing people as they made their way in, and was incredibly excited for the band. As Robert Smith strode up to her she said, “Hi! Congratulations! The Cure, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, 2019!” Keagan says. “Are you as excited as I am?”

Smith, scratching his face, responds, “Um, by the sounds of it, no.”

Brian May of Queen thought it was hysterical, tweeting, "Robert Smith is my hero !!! Long time since I laughed so much !!!" Tommy Lee of Motley Crue wrote, “HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Robert rules!!!!!!” Carrie seemed unfazed tweeting, "He is everything my lil black heart hoped he’d be. Wait til you see his acceptance speech!!" Check it out...
