Via Boston.com. Last October Boston's two beverage behemoths joined forces to put two of the greatest drinks in the world together. Harpoon Brewery and Dunkin' put out a coffee porter, a malty brew with notes of espresso and dark chocolate. Now, they have cracked the code to make an Iced Coffee Beer! Introducing Harpoon Dunkin' Summer Coffee Pale Ale. A refreshing pick me up for a hot summer day made with a mixture of Chinook, Denali, Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra, and Azacca hops along with Pale Malt, Carapils Malt, and Fawcett Amber Malt.
The label says it goes great with coffee-rubbed brisket and chipotle chicken tacos and at 5% ABV, the pale ale should go down easy with a Bearclaw. The beer hit shelves last week and you can get it through the summer in both 12-ounce cans and on draft at select retail locations.
