Kid Rock's neighbors are gonna love this. He has an artist heading to his Nashville home to put up a giant statue of the one finger salute. Ted Pelkey is a Vermont resident who got pissed off that his town leaders wouldn't let him develop his land, so he hired an artist to make him a large sculpture of a middle finger to protest.
The seven-foot-tall sculpture of a raised middle finger is carved from a 700-pound block of pine and perched atop a 16-foot pole. It's even lit up at night! This work of art became a tourist attraction and caught the attention of Kid Rock. He left a voicemail for Ted that said, "I like your style. Thanks for getting us the info on that middle finger. I gotta have one of those somewhere on my property here in Nashville.” Well Ted got a hold of the artist, and right now he's giving everyone the finger from Vermont to Tennessee as he delivers one to Kid.
Many locals were unhappy when Kid Rock installed a butt shaped guitar sign outside his "Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse" in Nashville, so they should absolutely love this, especially at night.
