Julian Edelman Makes MVP Run Through Graduating Class At Kent State

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is now a college graduate. He received his diploma during Kent State's commencement ceremony Saturday afternoon. Edelman is listed in the student directory as a senior integrated studies major. He was also their quarterback from 2006 to 2008 before being drafted by the Patriots in the 7th round. As QB he threw for 30 touchdowns and 5,000 yards, before he became a Super Bowl MVP receiver for the Pats.

In a Facebook post, Edelman said he wanted to set a great example for his daughter by graduating and fulfilling a promise he made to his parents over 10 years ago. Tom Brady congratulated him by saying, "who knew it took 14 years to graduate college?
