Via MVTimes.com. A weekend on Martha's Vineyard is great on it's own, but add 3 days of music and Jaws? Wow! The Beach Road Music Festival is happening August 9-11 at Veterans Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven. The opening-night act is an outdoor performance of the movie “Jaws,” accompanied by the Cape Cod Symphony. (duh-duh-duh-duh) Then maybe a midnight swim?
John Fogerty will headline Saturday night, and it was just announced that Phil Lesh and Friends will close out night 3. Also appearing, Grace Potter, Matisyahu, Galactic, the Original Wailers, Alejandro Escovedo, Mason Jennings, and North Mississippi Allstars.
There are several levels of tickets, including reserved seating and lawn seating that will feature beach chairs. Ticket sales will begin online May 31 at 10 am atbeachroadweekend.com.
I would get your car in the standby lane for the ferry now...
