Following in the footsteps of Aerosmith and Metallica, last night Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who joined Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show to play one of their songs with classroom instruments. They ripped through the rock anthem, "Won't Get Fooled Again," with the Tonight Show band, The Roots.
With Daltrey on tambourine and Townshend on a tiny guitar, Fallon provided percussion, while Roger gave the blood curdling scream and yes, Pete smashes his play guitar at the end.
The Who will be at Fenway Park with real instruments and a full orchestra on September 13th. Rock and roll!!!
