The ghost of Francis Scott Key was headbanging last night at Oracle Arena in Oakland California. James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica came out before Game 3 of the NBA Finals between The Golden State Warriors and The Toronto Raptors to perform their high volume rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner." The crowd went wild!
The Canadian National Anthem, "O Canada," was performed by Canadian country artist Tenille Arts. Like Metallica, she added her own flair, but she did it with some extra country twang which some of our neighbors in the Great White North didn't seem to like. "O Canada" was trending on Twitter during the first quarter of the game.
