Via Newsweek.com. Woodstock 50 can't get off the ground. The three day anniversary music festival was dealt ANOTHER blow yesterday when a second proposal from organizers was rejected by city officials in Vernon, New York, who claimed it was incomplete and was filed way too late, just as they had on Tuesday.
Producers of the 50th anniversary concert say they will appeal, but time is running out. The three-day music festival is little more than a month away. Tickets have yet to go on sale and details about parking, food, bathrooms, medical care and other major issues have yet to be cemented or approved.
It's starting to sound like the disastrous Fyre Festival of 2017. Which by the way has been made into a fascinating documentary of deception and dollars on Netflix that would be a great weekend watch.
