The Red Sox Are Begging You To Come To Thursday's Game

The 17 games out of first place Boston Red Sox are playing what could be a very short game Thursday. They're going to pick up where they left off against The Kansas City Royals August 7th when the tied game was suspended in the 10th inning because of rain.

To entice you to spend $40 to park for the possibility of a one inning game, they're making some special offers. Kids 18 and under will be admitted free of charge, while adults will be able to get in for $5. All those gate proceeds will be donated to the Jimmy Fund.

The team is also offering a special kid-friendly $1 menu that includes Kayem Fenway Franks, cotton candy, popcorn, chips, cracker jacks, candy, and Hood sports bars. Select additional menu items will be available for half price.

Gates for the game will open at 11 a.m., with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Royals will be batting with nobody on and nobody out in the top of the 10th inning, with the score tied 4-4.

You can get tickets here at MLB.com.
