Radio. It's always been there for you. From that first time Dad yelled at you for listening to that "garbage music," to the hours you spend sitting in traffic yelling at people, radio is a companion. Today is National Radio Day. Yes, another made up holiday, but this one celebrates something near and dear to my heart, radio---ing.
I've had a lot of fun doing afternoons at Boston's Classic Rock, WZLX all these years, and believe me, if I can do it, you can do it. That's why a few years ago I wanted to "give back' with a ChuckTV episode. It's a Master Class on how to do a proper radio show.
I hope this inspires some future broadcasters to quit their well paying, secure job and get into the exciting, but by no means secure or well paying, world of a radio broadcasting!!!
