The Dropkick Murphys Save Their Best Performance For 3 Year Old With Cancer

Via Ken Casey and guitarist Tim Brennan of The Dropkick Murphys gave one of their best performances this week. With the help of a shark puppet, they did a private concert for Quinn Waters of Weymouth, a 3-year-old battling medulloblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor.

Quinn can't leave his house due to high risk of infection from fighting cancer, so Wednesday, the Dropkick lead singer and his guitarist dropped by to perform a few songs for the Waters family, including the iconic “Shipping up to Boston.” In the video, Casey can be seen singing directly to the excited toddler with a shark puppet on his hand, and Quinn can be heard squealing in the background.

“We cannot be more thankful to everyone, but especially today, to Ken Casey and Tim Brennan for taking the time to come see Quinn,” the Waters family posted to The Mighty Quinn Facebook page.
