Leslie Jones, a staple on Saturday Night Live since 2014, has informed producer Lorne Michaels that she will not be returning to the cast when the 45th season starts on September 28th.
According to The Hollywood Reporter she will instead focus on her upcoming feature film projects and Netflix comedy special. She'll be starring with Eddie Murphy in the Coming To America sequel and was part of the voice cast for Angry Birds 2.
