The Greatest Zombie Comedy Of All Time Released 15 Years Ago Today

Via RottenTomatoes.com. This is one of those movies that, if I'm channel surfing and hit it, I have to watch. "Shaun of the Dead" was released on this day 2004.

Mixing horror and comedy is not for the faint of heart, but they manage to poke fun at zombie movie cliches while also honoring the rules of the undead. Pasty skinned Simon Pegg is Shaun, a boring man with a dead-end job and repetitive lifestyle which includes nightly trips to the bar with his fiance, Liz (Kate Ashfield), and best friend, Ed (Nick Frost). After a bad day ends with a wild night at the bars, Shaun and Ed wake up to find the world infested with zombies, and they join forces with others to overcome the threat.

Made with a budget of $6 million it went on to gross over $30 million and become a cult, romantic comedy, with zombies... Some highlights!
