Brock Holt Was Giving Out Bats Outside Fenway After The Sox Last Game

Via Boston.com. After The World Champion Boston Red Sox season ended with a disappointing thud at Fenway Park on Sunday, Brock Holt went and shared his tools with the Fenway faithful.

In a video posted on Twitter, the Red Sox utility man can be seen giving away his game used baseball bats to fans outside Fenway Park. He keeps reaching into the bag like Santa, handing out lumber to those who hung around after the game. A nice gesture from the 31-year-old who played his seventh and potentially final season with the Red Sox. This offseason, Holt will enter free agency for the first time.

On Tuesday he posted what appears to be a goodbye to the Sox and their fans on Instagram.

"I am forever grateful for the past 7 years! It has been one hell of a ride! Don’t know what is next but I’m excited to find out. Until next time!"
