Rock bad boy, and Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee celebrates a birthday today. After living the rock and roll lifestyle depicted in the Crue book and movie, "The Dirt," it's amazing that he still has birthdays to celebrate.
He managed to become a drum hero with his solos at concerts. Playing while his entire kit revolved and spun around upside down while floating over the crowd on his "Drum Coaster" is not something you would ever see Don Henley or Ringo Starr do. As Motley Crue's star rose, so did their decadent behavior both on and offstage. Consuming massive amounts of alcohol, cocaine, heroin, pills, the tales of rock star excess were legendary.
Four marriages, a sex tape, book, goodbye tour, and a Netflix movie later, we say happy birthday Tommy.
