The Green Monster Got a Fresh Coat Of Paint Yesterday

Something to pick you up on a dark, dreary day. They gave The Green Monster at Fenway Park a fresh coat of green paint yesterday. Are they covering up the sin of the Boston Red Sox not making the playoffs after winning the World series, or just looking to make a fresh start in 2020?
I can't stand painting myself, but this looks amazingly satisfying to do...
