Nov. 6, 1998, Bobby Boucher Leads The Mud Dogs To A Bourbon Bowl Victory!

Adam Sandler's hit movie "The Waterboy" came out on this day in 1998. Sandler plays Robert "Bobby" Boucher Jr., a socially inept, stuttering, 31 year old water boy for the University of Louisiana football program. He lives with his overprotective and extremely religious mother, Helen, and believes his father, Robert Sr., died of dehydration in the Sahara while serving in the Peace Corps.

After being fired from his water boy job, he gets his revenge by leading the South Central Louisiana State University Mud Dogs back from a 27-0 deficit against his old team in the annual Bourbon Bowl game.

It's the feel good movie of the 90's!!!
