Via UltimateClassicRock.com. Well, the rumors are true. Motley Crue will play again next Summer with Def Leppard and Poison on a stadium tour. After a long farewell tour finishing with a New Year's show in Los Angeles 2015, the band promised to never tour again. They even signed a contract saying so.
In a newly released video, as "Home Sweet Home" plays, Machine Gun Kelly, who played Tommy Lee in the Crue movie, "The Dirt," voices how the band signed an "unprecedented contract" and how they continued to pick up new fans. "They knew that if they were ever to stand onstage together again, that contract would have to be destroyed," he says. "Well, destruction has never been an issue for Motley Crue."
At which point, the contract, the desk, Hell, the whole room explodes in flames with the words "Motley Crue Is Back" splashed across the screen.
In a press release, Machine Gun Kelly said, “Since playing Tommy Lee in The Dirt, so many of my fans have said how they wish they could've seen the real Motley Crue play live. I never thought I would see the day when this would become a reality. But the fans spoke, and Motley Crue listened!”
Think they'll play Gillette Stadium? Would the Red Sox ever let them play Fenway Park? Stay tuned...
