Via dailystar.co.uk. Meat Loaf has joined the ranks of musicians who are backing the Veganuary campaign, where people give up meat and animal products for the month of January. But he did draw the line at renaming himself "Veg Loaf" for the month,"When Frankie & Benny’s, a restaurant chain, first approached me to rebrand to Veg Loaf I said no way in hell – I won’t do that. But, I’d do anything for our planet and dropping meat for veg, even for just one day a week, can make a huge difference.”
Brian May of Queen is also on the Veganuary bandwagon. He posted his New Year's Day meals which started with mushrooms on toast, a baked potato and baked beans for breakfast, fruits and vegetables and tomato soup for lunch, and Chinese takeout for dinner.
I don't know if I could make it through January without a burger, and I don't think anybody at ZLX would appreciate me eating baked beans for breakfast.
Are you going to try to go plant based for the month?
