We may be keeping the packies in business with all the day drinking going on during the lockdown, but when you get back on a plane, water may be your only choice. Airlines around the world are suspending all or part of their alcoholic drinks service in response to Covid-19.
In a bid to minimize interaction between crew and passengers, many airlines are limiting your beverage choice to water only. They don't want you lingering over a vodka and tonic with your face mask pulled down. Delta Airlines isn't serving alcohol on domestic flights, but beer, wine and spirits can be found on all other international flights. Same with American Airlines, unless you spring for that First Class ticket! Other airlines are expected to follow.
So if you need a little something to take the edge off, you better do it before you get on board. One byproduct of this should be less booze fueled rage videos like this...
